Some History

HD Wealth Strategies stepped into the financial services scene in 2010 after the financial crisis of 2008, during the long road to economic recovery. Many of the financial services firms left standing believed that profits alone were the vehicle that would drive success in the suddenly acutely competitive market. Our founders believed otherwise.

From the very beginning, it was clear to Allie and Steve that customer service, not profits alone, would be fundamental to establishing an organization with the ability to weather the economic climate and stand the test of time. Our founders realized that the catalyst driving healthy business in the industry, was indeed the relationship between client and advisor. Additionally, they realized that communication was of paramount importance in these relationships.

In order to establish a practice that perennially valued communication and service, long term goals would would be required to guide decisions and craft the brand. We would like to share our first “10 x 10” checklist – a list of 10 long term goals that our founders created that has served as a compass for our first 10 years in the industry.

We are proud to say that after six years of serving the Colorado community, we have accomplished many of these goals, while continually striving to meet others. Check out our “10 x 10” list below!

Relocate to Broomfield ✓

While we genuinely enjoyed our time in Boulder, Broomfield really is home to HD. We believe proximity really matters when customer service is involved so we moved closer to our client nucleus.

Provide excellent customer service ∞

Providing such service is a constant goal of ours – now and in the future.

Constantly improve operational efficiency ✓

Increased efficiency within the business allows us to spend more time doing what we love – interacting with clients.

Continually research and develop innovative strategies to meet our customer’s needs ∞

Our proprietary MyStrategy program has grown from this goal. We are thrilled to see it in action everyday; helping clients separate themselves from emotions and make rational decisions.

Always add value to the customer experience ∞

We strive to be more than just financial advisors. We want to help with every aspect of the retirement planning and financial planning process.

Become thought leaders in the Colorado community ∞

We like to consider ourselves “life-long learners” in all aspects of our profession. Through our blog, as well as through business publications in Northern Colorado, we love to share financial knowledge we have learned.

Leverage our role as local business owners to create positive impacts in the community ∞

We are members of multiple community groups throughout Broomfield and Denver and are always on the lookout for meaningful and innovative means to create genuinely positive impacts in our community.

Raise $100,000 for the National MS Society ∞

We’re almost there! This year will be our 6th consecutive year we have formed a team for Bike MS and are humbled to say that we have raised over $75,000 for the cause so far!

Be instrumental in bringing more financial education to our community ∞

We enjoy hosting informative events such as our “hungry for information” series as well as spearheading the “Funding the Future” initiative in Broomfield High School.

Support the local economy ∞

We believe that we have a responsibility to support local businesses when we have the ability. From our local water bottles, to the locally sourced and prepared food at all of our events, we love keeping our dollars in Northern Colorado.
