Reflecting on our commitment to be a client focused firm, we have undergone a significant overhaul to our MyStrategy system. We developed MyStrategy over the last 5 years to be the best client focused communication process available. We believe our role as an advisory firm is to help our clients create goals, understand the process, and stay focused on long term success.

At the root of any good relationship is quality communication. One of the most consistent complaints clients have of their advisors relates to communication. While I am sure there are challenges that pervade many advisors’ businesses, there is likely a lack of systems that address consistent and meaningful communication. In the article, The Top Complaints About Financial Advisors, from Investopedia.com, Jeff Rose, a top industry blogger, says, “Advisors should have the infrastructure in place to get back to you in a timely manner. If not, it probably means they are unorganized and not providing you with the service you deserve.”

At HD Wealth Strategies, we have taken a pragmatic look at how we communicate with our clients. Technology and information is becoming more and more a part of our clients’ lives, and we are taking the lead in using client friendly technology to strengthen our approach.

MyStrategy Technology System

The most exciting MyStrategy advancement is the creation of the MyStrategy Communication System. With the services and consultation of several technology organizations we have created a seamless and integrated reporting and communications system for our clients. If deep client relationships are the soul of MyStrategy, the MyStrategy Communication System is the heartbeat. This system will keep information flowing between our advisors and clients.

  • The new HD Wealth Strategies App will be available in the Apple and Android app stores.
  • The app, along with the online client portal will be our client’s source for real time information. Including a comprehensive net worth statement,  your HDWS portfolio, investment accounts held outside of HD Wealth Strategies, work retirement plans, and real estate holdings.
  • You will be able to see up-to-date information regarding your financial plan and goals.
  • There will be videos featuring your advisors personally walking you through the details of your quarterly statement. Additionally, you will be able to access content created by your advisors directly through the app.

The MyStrategy Technology System is meant to compliment the time we spend with our clients. We believe technology should be used to strengthen relationships, not replace them. We have made considerable investments to create a system that will help our clients see and understand the most relevant information so that we can make our relationships stronger and give our clients the best opportunity to pursue their goals.

The MyStrategy Communication System will be rolled out during the first quarter of 2018.
